Finally saw it. Good flick, a bit over the top, but whatever.

I've actually seen the original it's based off of. I'd say that's a more interesting story all around compared to this. AND, in the original, there's some gratuitous nudity. So there's that...

It sucked. There were some good parts, but mostly it was like Quentin Tarantino jerking off in your face and ejaculating blood and guts all over you. There was no real point.

The point was revenge... about bad people getting their comeuppance... and having a plan that doesn't quite go as planned

I liked it, BUT it wasn't what I expected. For years I've been hearing that we'd get a "guys on a mission" movie - well, it seemed like only 1/3 of it was. You'd think a movie called Inglorious Basterds would be entirely about them...

I would have much preferred seeing the exploits of the basterds in France. That was by far the most interesting part. Things revolving around the movie premiere were rather boring...

I absolutely loved it. Screw you if you didn't, you are wrong. :D

"You will be shot for this!"

"No, I don't think so. More like chewed out. I been chewed out before, it wasn't that bad."

Those that complain that his films have gratuitous violence would probably be offended by seeing some T&A in a porn. At this point, he has a body of work and you KNOW what you are getting with one of his films. If you don't like his movies, don't go spend your ten bucks just so you can say you still hate his movies.

My point was, it was intimately uncomfortable. Mission accomplished!

Edit: I do like T&A, it would have been nice to trade some of that in. That would have balanced everything nicely with the really funny parts for the trifecta.

That girl was seriously hot. I got pissed thinking the kraut sniperboy was gonna rape her though.

She was smokin wasn't she? I think sniperboy pissed her off too. Too bad she didn't make like a Marine and walk over there to put an anchor shot in his head. Quentin (and the audience at my theater), would have loved it.

Me? I feel the same way. Here's moar.....I have a new friend in Mélanie Laurent.

Combating TIP training AGAIN?!
Did anyone notice that the Allied General that the Nazi Colonel was negotiating with over the radio was "the Wolf"?

Samuel L. Jackson was the narrator, also.

BTW, here's a faux trailer for the movie that was being screened.
