I read people really don’t drop TACAMO very frequently anymore. Is that true? Out of curiosity what would E-6 vs P-8 lifestyle be like? On top of that how hard is it to drop P-8?

No one can tell you how often P-8 or E-6 slots will come up, it will depend on the needs of the Navy/the respective communities at the time you select.
