As a married dude who went through Corpus...with kids...here are my ideas to you:
Don't be afraid to come up with your own idea and be ready to go when we get home. If that means having a cooler of beer in the car, a blanket, and a spot picked, do it. If that means movie night, actually do the work and have the times found. Nothing really makes your day like being met with this:
Wife: "I'm bored, let's do something."
Husband. "I just got home from a fun day at work...what would you like to do?"
Wife: "I don't know."
Completely frustrating. When we go to work, we work...we don't think of fun shit to do when we get home. Honestly, on my drive home from work, all I really want is 30 minutes to get changed, take a shit, check my e-mail/AW's/news, and not do ANYTHING. Once that is done I am game.
Also, when you create spawn with your husband (if you have not yet done that) it is NOT okay for you to "check out" when we get home. Basically that means I get done doing MY job (the one that earns money) and then have to do YOUR job while you eat a fucking BonBon, shop on E-Bay, or go do something fun. (for my own personal protection...I am NOT saying Mrs. Pickle does this...I have seen some of my other buddies get shafted like this)
Another point of stress that can be removed...understand that we have ZERO control over our careers at this point. This will become more relevant when you get to VP-30 and are waiting for orders to drop. WE CANNOT MAKE THEM COME FASTER!!! That means I will NOT call the detailer, I will NOT bug Stucon, STOP ASKING! (okay, that one WAS directed at Mrs. Pickle) All we have control over is how well we do in class and how hard we study.
One more: We did not "Take you from your home" or "move you all the way down to this shithole"...by marrying us YOU volunteered for this duty just as much as we did. Remember that. You are where you are voluntarily. Bitching about how hard it is to be you adds MOUNTAINS of stress to our day...when you miss your home/friends/family..call THEM and tell THEM...don't lay that shit on your husband.
Take all of this realizing that I am not accusing YOU or MY WIFE of these marital atrocities...I have seen all of this before, both as an Enlisted and an Officer member of the Navy.

Oh, and one other thing...don't forget sex is a great endorphin releaser AND a good aerobic workout...
