I didn't like Jarhead very much either.
It was along the lines of He didnt see why people gave these guys so much hero worship since a lot of them just "sat around in the desert not doing anything."
Now Im not saying there werent guys over there that never saw a fight and probably came back as billy badass around their home town bar, but an Actor accusing anybody of not needing hero worship is the pot calling the kettle black. Its not like his ass volunteered to go "sit around the desert not doing anything" any time the opertunity as come up. So yeah face... shovel... all forgiven.
