Even the USAF has fun sometimes......

That's really funny.

I don't have a problem with people pulling stunts like that. However, it is unprofessional and isn't a good public image for the military.

That said... sometimes, ESPECIALLY there, you gotta blow off some steam and that's a good way.

I hope he wore sunscreen. There's nothing worse than a sunburned willy, except perhaps sunburned balls.

I think his ass got chapped in more ways than one...

It was one of those "deployed things" that just let everyone fire off some steam. It's got a thread over on Baseops.net.
Apparently, the guy got in serious troube for it, though. So much for the USAF having a sense of humor.

Talking from personal experience? What were you tanning in a sheer thong or something? :D

Anyway, funny prank.

The leadership should have given him an obligatory ceremonial ass-chewing and let it go. You can't let total chaos reign, but you have to allow for a little deployment silliness.

At what rank do you start getting paid to bury your sense of humor? Just curious.

Not a question of having a sense of humor...

The problem is that when pictures as these are taken and are circulated -- especially on the Internet -- heads have to roll.

Like the other poster said, digital cameras are a bad idea.

True story here:
Dude is fratanizing with chick. Chick takes picture on digital camera and decides to leave it on the share drive. Someone else sees it and the picture is passed around until the right person sees it. Charges are pressed and dude is in the slammer. He should not be fraternizing in the first place but why would you take pictures? Pictures just makes the case easy to prove.
