The aircraft's registration was OY-JET. When the owner replaced it, he registered the replacement as OY-WET.

Another good rule is to land on a runway that can handle your jet. That was Bader Field in Atlantic City. It's closed now.

God I remember that dope. That a few other morons effectively put the nails in Bader's coffin.
The first thing authorities saw when they opened up the cockpit was the pilot's approach chart with a giant bold and underlined "jet operations forbidden" warning all over it.

1. Make sure you get TO/LDG data and try to land into the wind if possible

2. Before an emergency ground egress, don't forget PCL-OFF FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE -PULL (about 4:05 into the video)

Thanks for the post, good video. Here's an excerpt from the NTSB report:

The left throttle lever was observed in idle cut off, and the right throttle lever was bent to the right at the idle stop.

Additionally, the airport diagram for Bader Field, was observed attached to the pilot's control column after the accident. A notation, which read, "airport closed to jet aircraft" was observed on the diagram.

A review of the FAA Airport/Facility Directory for the Northeast U.S., revealed the following notation listed in the Airport Remarks section of the Atlantic City/Bader Field Airport entry, "Arpt CLOSED to jet traffic." Additionally, runway 11 was a 2,948 foot-long, 100 foot-wide, asphalt runway.

Additionally, the airport diagram for Bader Field, was observed attached to the pilot's control column after the accident. A notation, which read, "airport closed to jet aircraft" was observed on the diagram.

The dude was (my guess) either a rich-idiot business man/doctor/lawyer or a charter hired pilot that got wrapped up into getting it done for the spoiled/high-powered/whiny clients that he elected to throw all his headwork out the cockpit...

Here's the NTSB Report. Interesting that he requests visual approach to ACY, but files and attempts to land at AIY. You think he was trying to pull the wool over ATC's eyes?

However, ATC cleared him for the visual to Bader airport... Weird...

That is a great commercial for the sturdiness of the Cessna Citation engine!
