Yeah....there are two "Yeti" as well. Actually the one with all the gay stickers is a hornet back seater. He is cool as shit though...i met him in EWS school.

The other Yeti is a Harrier guy. IP in K rock. The only flight I ever got any airsickness was with him. He was demo-ing all these low level mountain ridge crossings and jerking the damn stick all over the place. If we would have flown 5 more minutes on the low level route I would have puked for the first time in an airplane. But I didn't.

Actually, now that I think about it the Hornet FO might go by "The Yeti"

As I have had the distinct pleasure of having flown with Yeti on several fighter events, I can tell you that he just goes by The Yeti. He is by far one of the coolest instructors I know.

Yes, the Hornet 'FO is "The Yeti" with the world famous stickers. And I do agree with you... he is cool as shit. Flew with him once... great instructor and great guy.

The Yeti - "I may be ugly.....but at least I smell bad" – never met the guy but I’ve seen his zappers everywhere - BFT, Yuma, Miramar, K-Bay, Guam, Kadena, Iwakuni, Korea, everywhere - my understanding is he didn't have much say so in those zappers, his boys in 242 hooked him up.

If the SNA in Cosmo’s picture is the same one who was coming back from the East Coast in '02 and had a lightening strike (IIRC) that shut the engine down and glided from like 40k down to like 5k before getting a re-light, he was called "lucky" after that incident and he’s an East Coast Harrier guy who was just selected for Navy TPS.

His name is Gary, if that helps.

Yes, indeed it would. Which is why the damn trucks are locked up and have had an official modification to keep theiving grunts from rooting through them while on ship. Bastards.

But I digress.
Just leave a couple of bikes around...they'll go for them instead....

Ask me about ninjas!
I thought it was those (us) theiving air wing Marines who stole Brett's bike? Regardless, it seems like it always comes down to this: A lock isn't going to stop a thief. If a thief wants what's yours, he's going to get it. Locks are just there to keep honest people out of your shit. So while they may be thieving bastards, they're probably not all technically thieves. ...Until I catch them and have the living shit beat out of them.

Guess she don't like the Cornbread either...
Got just a couple of Av. pics from the private side of things. Cessna 180 south of the Grand Canyon and a by far my favorite, the J3 Piper on floats down on Lake Havasu.

HJ ain't kidding either. Anytime we launched the DLI it was freak'n motivating! You go from mundane flight ops to shooting Tomcats off the pointy end thinking, "I might not have to download that Buffalo later on?" Fortunately that never happened. It still sucked up/downloading the Phoenix though. Ok, I'll shut up. HeyJoe's got lots of cool sea stories. I think you should just have your own blog:icon_wink
