For my own education, do you mean as a disassociated tour? I'm assuming so, since I don't think PERS would care after dropping your letter, but I know that's unlikely with timing nowadays.

Late to the reply, but yes, on disassociated tour. The current policy is that if a guy has a patch he cannot apply to 84/85 after his time at the weapons school. The detailers are making those guys go to super jo or other such jobs.
