Oh so you guys know my child hood and the circumstances I was born into?

Figured you would. Cause you seem to be experts in everything else.
We know it as well as you know ours or the multitude of white people you claim had it so easy.

See you guys just all cry foul when anyone who says they had to work harder because of systemic racism.

Refuse to even acknowledge that someone may have had a more difficult experience because of racism that went on for generations.

But keep hating liberals and blaming them.

Glad you guys took the L back in November 2020.

Well you yourself admitted to being born into an Officers family and then you worked for the military before transferring to a union.

So lets look back shall we?

Born into a socialist government utopia where health care is all paid for, base pay regardless how hard anyone works, etc

You yourself moved into that same socialist sytem.

Then you left and joined a strong union

Ya, you are super conservative and live by those values. smh.

You have a mental road block here...

Do you not see how "I am black, therefore I worked harder than you, therefore I deserve more" is racist?
Where did I say anywhere that I deserve more then anyone?

Addressing systemic racism and critical race theory is to ensure everyone has the same starting point.

Name one big metropolitan riddled with crime, poverty where the majority are minorities run by a conservative? So if it’s systematic racism as you claim then who’s to blame? Those big bad conservatives that haven’t been in charge for decades or the other guys!

I know I've been going back and forth with him, but this riddle isn't hard to solve...

You haven’t given a single example of modern day systemic racism.

I never said I had it as hard as you or as hard as others. I have no knowledge of how hard you are anyone beyond my family and friends may or may not have had it. Just as you don’t.

If racism is systemic than it needs to be recognized that it’s not just whites that are systematically racist.

CRT has Marxist origins and is Marxist/socialist yet you claim the military is a socialist system. So the military must be meeting the goals of CRT yet you claim there is systemic racism in the military.

I’ve never said racism or discrimination don’t exist or that they are good. I’ve said they exist and are bad but no longer systemic. I’ve said they come from individuals not government, corporations or society as a policy. I’ve said the laws, regulations and policies that provide equal rights and opportunities have existed since the civil rights movement in the 1960s and that we are now 3 generations of workers away from that time. I’ve said anyone in today’s society willing to take responsibility for their own future can be successful and improve their lives if they quit believing they are a victim. I’ve said the past is the past and long enough ago that it no longer affects the future of people who want to improve their lives. I’ve said to quit blaming slavery from 150 years ago.

That is what I’ve said. All this other stuff you say about my posts is just your attempts to move away from reality to twist the context to justify your victim hood.

This thread is ridiculous.

I didn't appreciate when my XO alluded in a mentoring session that unqualified minorities get promoted because of their skin color or gender. And he was an O-6. By all accounts he WAS representing the Navy as far as all of us JOs were concerned. The fact that I know many other minority Officers who all had the a similar experience proves there is a lot of work to be done.

The fact remains that I know many people who worked hard and were still not given their due respect simply because of their skin color and judgement of their peers.

All that being said, no one is going to change the other person's mind on their political views.

As an ENS, he told his LT how he worked 10 times harder than everyone else because he is brown. His LT retorted that he's only an officer because of affirmative action. Ipso facto the Navy is systemically racist.
Weren't you the one saying that for any black people to be successful they have to abandon their culture and family?

And because of people like you and your beliefs I never share my background or upbringing. Because if I do? people assume things and claim things even worst then what the LT said.

I know you're making jokes but I'd like to hear your opinion on if the LT saying that is appropriate?

I've heard that sort of statement from so many Officers that I lost count. Is saying someone is there because of affirmative action an appropriate thing to say to your coworkers? Because judging by the amount of times I heard it most see nothing wrong with it.
