It would seem so. Most people in PAO haven't been through any RECCE training and obviously don't talk to the unit they are covering. I keep cutlines intact for your enjoyment ;)

Yeah, a weak excuse for the PAOs, but that's what I figured. Just a chance to be a smart ass.

It's a shame there's not too much in the way of historical paint schemes for helos...maybe have to steal some old observation squadron colors for the HSL birds. Maybe the man will let us repaint one of our 60s like an old Phrog.

I think its a grand idea to paint some HSL up like 30's Observation and Scouting squadrons. We've got to work on that!
