I'm going to drive up to Meridian this coming weekend for the airshow. Does any of you know what time the show starts and where's a good place to view from?

I'm making the trek frm Atlanta (Chose NMM over Tyndall). Get to test the new Canon 40D out for the first time.

Anyone of you VT-7/9 guys know if TAW-1 will be sending a Goshawk or two up for the show?

Should be a good one!

The Blues will be here in Kingsville next week. We're also having a winging party that Friday.

I just saw that on the schedule. The airshow site didn't make any mention of Goshawks being part of the show. Any idea on whether or not there might be a few on static display at least?

Yeah, there will surely be some 45s out. Probably just the shiny, not all bent up, Charlies. I don't know for sure, but I would assume like in Corpus last year, all of the training a/c from the area will make a showing. I would expect to see 34s, 44s, C-12s as well as the T-45C.

I am going to be working the souvenir booth on Saturday 13-1700, so come by and say whats up.

I also get the privilege of escorting some of the wounded warriors to a private showing on Friday. Its an extremely humbling experience that I'm looking forward to greatly.

I 'heard' that there will be a T-45 form flyby to kick off the show. I'm sure they will have an ejection-seat-safe bird to hop into.

I am going to go see the Blue Angels this weekend up in TN, can't believe how expensive the tickets are for an airshow. Lucky its Navy week and I can get them for free.

Wow...are you feeling manly now? Actual "command" of the English language...

And what the f*%& EXACTLY is "Flight School Part Deux?!?" Inquiring minds want to know...
Sir,
My parents taught me that "good grammar" and a "diverse vocabulary" were important and thus I have a pet peeve for poor grammar. Flight School Part Deux directly follows, albeight 7 years later, Flight School Part Uno. My favorite quote, especially when responding to late night posts is "Never ask a Navy man how much he's had to drink!"
