Has anyone used 'Barron's Military Flight Aptitude Tests' study book? If so, does anyone recommend it to study from? It goes over a number of military tests including the ASTB, but would this work or should I look elsewhere? Thanks.

I have, and I liked it. It might be beneficial to use other sources as well, though (ARCO, as well as some of the study guides posted by other members).

I used the Barron's along with the ARCO study books and was well prepared for the ASTB.

The Barron's book is very helpful in the math, mechanical, and aviation knowledge areas. The only drawback is the answer key has a few errors so just be aware of that. And I found the reading sections to be completely different from the real test. Here are some other links that will help you study:
http://www.grafitto.com/~mark/astb/
http://navy-officer.com/astb.html
http://www.gouge.navygouge.com/index.php?title=ASTB
http://www.faa.gov/library/manuals/aviation/pilot_handbook/
Hope this helps. Those links cover 95% of what is on the test.

I liked the ARCO book better, but used it mostly to study spacial app and some word problems. Used the gouge most of all to practice.
