Does anyone know if the ASTB is scored on a curve or an absolute scale?


Also, does the Navy make available old ASTB exams? (I mean, ones that are 5 - 10 years old...)

Curve. Scoring adjusted to keep 48-50 the average score.

Yes. Only get to take 3 times total in a life time (unless used previous form 1 or 2).

I assume the curve isn't adjusted more often than once a year or so, though. Your score is given to you instantly, meaning it isn't first compared to other results of recent and near-future months. Our aviation LT said that the average is 6-6-6. If you're looking for ASTB gouge, go look at the threads for those. They helped me a ton.
