NEWS 737 Off the Runway at KNIP

I have a hard time turning the Autobrakes on when I have 10K of runway, or more, to work with.

Word I got about this particular incident was the dipshits barely got the plane down by Hangar 1000...can we speculate about a perfectly good aircraft landing long and running into the water if they are contractors and not VR?

Auto brakes mandatory if runway condition is anything but 6/6/6 where I am. But like HAL said, you can override them as soon as you want on roll out

I let them do their thing until about 70 knots unless it’s auto brake max. I’m usually too busy trying to peel my face off the glare shield if using max to kick them off on the rollout.
