Thank you for the feedback. A crap shoot! oh noo. I’ve ‘seen’ some of the board selections from air warriors, if they’re true. It looks like no rhyme or reason to the selection, but plenty I don’t know must have dependent on the interview.
I am set on flying. Thank you I will looking into ANG.

Higher ASTB gives hire chance of selection.

There are no interviews for most OCS programs unless the person is prior service.

The important criteria they select for can be seen by looking at their new immediate selection criteria which is pretty good ASTB, good GPA, and no waivers.

+1 on Air Guard. If you click with the hiring unit then they will move mountains for you to support your goals (OTS, UPT).

Like others have said, make them tell you no...then look into the ANG.

I understand I’d be considered a grandma with the rest of the young SNAs

I knew a young SNA who married an older lady (late 30's and already a grandma). When he checked into his first squadron, everyone called him 'Pee-Paw'. 😄
