In October of 2012 an OPNOTE came out with an accession plan to get twenty 1105's and one hundred plus 1305's into the SELRES for FY13.
As of now via the rumor mill I've heard that they have filled the quota for 1105's and only have 35 1305's that they have taken into the SELRES.
Long story short, I'm a 1305, myself and two others have been sniffing around the past few months trying to figure out why all of the sudden the Navy would take 1305's into the SELRES from the IRR. Our Skippers and Chiefs in the know seem to think the SELRES has plenty of officers.
Anyone know why they would have a need for 1305's? Has anyone been through/seen a situation similar to this before?
