If anyone is waiting on the Jan. Supply Board results, wait time just became a lot longer. I called the ocs help desk and found out the board convene date got rolled to this week or next week. Hopefully to hear anything soon.

Thank you! At least now we know why we are waiting a bit longer. Good luck to all!

Does anyone know what the upcoming quotas will be for the AUG AMDO program?

That is FY14, the hard numbers for FY14 won't be out until late this year or early next year so they will estimate for that board, expect single digits with the remainder picked early CY14

Selected for SNFO (did not try for SNA as vision is too poor)
ASTB: 5/6/5 53 (I think this is what I got the first time I took it but cant recall my second score (a bit higher, 6/7/5 58 I believe) when I retook it)
3.2 GPA BHS Speech, Language, & Hearing Science (University of Florida)
Solid LORs (CPT(USN ret.), LCDR(USN ret.), Brig. Gen (USA ret.), Professor, Employer )
Great Interview Scores (CPT, CDR, LCDR)
Tons of volunteer hrs (About 700-800+)

I have been in the application process for roughly 3 yrs. First round, (dont believe my recruiter actually submitted my package and was therefore never reviewed). Second round, not selected, 3rd round selected SNFO. Did not hear anything for months and thought that I had not been selected again and to my surprise I just got the call Friday 5/3. I have not heard when I will be leaving yet.

Not the same FY but didn't want to start a new thread. I'm getting ready to submit for FY14 March board.
NFO/Pilot application
ASTB: 6/6/6 55
3.68 GPA BS Professional Aeronautics (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, last semester)
LOR's: (in the works)
Interviews: (command wants to schedule, Expect Blue Angles' CO)
Evals: EP, P (E-5 Closeout), MP
PRT: Good
Master Training Specialist, MOVSM
Age Waiver in route, turn 27 during the board.

I've routed two STA-21 packages (FY11, 12) non-selected. Skipped 13 and 14 due to PTS, PCS, and would have had to stop taking courses to remain program eligible. Does anyone know when we can expect a schedule or quotas for FY15?

Boards are currently rolling or as I will call them "rolling light" so depending on the numbers they are getting waiting too long might not be good, and if you submit and get a Pro N then you have time to retake the ASTB and resubmit.

Are you at the school house? If you need a interview from our CO CDR Frosch at the Blues let me know and I will put in a word for you.

I'm getting ready to submit for FY14 January board.
Supply/Intel/SWO-IW
ASTB: 3/3/3 52
3.52 GPA MS Clinical Physiology
3.68 GPA MS Health Care Administration
6 NAM's (1 NAM with V)
4 Combat Tours
2 Supply Officers, 1 SWO, 1 Intel Interviews
Evals: EP, MP, MP (Last Three Evals)
PRT: Excellent
MOVSM

I have been in the US Navy fro 12 years and the only reason I have been in this long is because I enjoy making a difference in sailors lives and assisting in improving the productivity of it as well.

Do anyone have any advice on my package and do anyone think I have a chance in getting selecting for OCS?

First of all, yes you have a chance, but we cannot predict how much of a chance. Your ASTB is below limits, but you aren't applying for Aviation, so that shouldn't matter. OAR is good.

Possible problem is that your 2 MSs (fine GPAs), are in the medical field, which doesn't fit well for Intel or Supply, but would be great for the Medical field (MSC). BTW, are the MSs listed actual Masters Degrees, or 2 MS courses? No BS/BA listed?

Your combat record/awards are impressive, and always catch the eye of board members.

The Military Outstanding Volunteerism Service Medal (MOVSM) is a huge plus, as the Board places high value on volunteerism.

Finally, if you can add another LOR or two from a former Professor, Coach, Scout or Religious Leader or Supervisor (who are familiar with and know you), would be helpful.;)

Good luck with your application!:)

I'm getting ready to submit to FY 14 rolling boards and wanted to hear your guys input.

B.S. in Intelligence from
Mercyhurst university.
GPA: 2.53
OAR: 51
AQR: 6
PFAR: 7
FOFAR: 6
Age: 22
H/W: 5'9" 165lbs

SNA, SNFO, SWO, and Intel in that order.

I come from a navy background (my dad was in for 11 and my mom was in for 6). I know my GPA isn't the greatest so don't bash me to hard on that but it's not like I received a social work degree either. I'm relatively physically fit and try to run between 5-6 miles a day.

I was told by my recruiter that they are meeting some time in January 2014. He wasn't sure of a specific date -- but try and have your kit in ASAP if you can. Hope that helps.
