I was under the impression that most people don’t even have their interview until after OCS. Was it in person or over the phone?

Two reasons for this I believe. I submitted my package relatively early. In fact if it hadn’t been for a hiccup at NAMI I would have been submitted to the February board. So they’ve had a lot of time to investigate me already.
Second I live 20 minutes from the Navy base so the NBIB agent was very close so we could meet in person very conveniently. It went fine, but he grilled me on a lot of stuff. It was a little intimidating.

Well, I wish I could say I have some control over that. I did request Aug 12, Sept 2 or Sept 23. But it’s the government so they do whatever the hell they want haha

My recruiter called me to let me know my status went from processing to booking. Needless to say it was a short conversation lol, but maybe 12 August?
