Sucks that this board is still waiting to release results. Just to put a couple things into perspective as to why.... Results for the March board were release I wanna say like three days after the scheduled board date. Seems quick right. Well after looking at the official list the board had actually convened the week prior to the scheduled date. So once they released the results, we were all like wow 4-5 days.... yet it had actually been almost 2 weeks. Like wise, after looking at the official list for the 23 May Aviation board, it actually convened on 29 May. So as far as this board goes.... it may or may not have actually started on the scheduled board date. As far as shipping goes, July 22 OCS class is the first FY 19 class. So July 1st is the last FY 18 class for the year. So most, if not all, selected will be FY 19. Three people I know that were selected on the March board are currently slated for late Sep and late Oct classes. Hopefully some of this info helps. Good Luck!

Are you trying to get your OR in trouble? Don’t ever reach out to PERS of NRC directly.

They actually were the ones who offered to reach out for me, but yes, I understand how it could get my OR in trouble and definitely not my intention.

Just got a call from my CCC. They spoke to the OS1 who posts the results. They are playing the waiting game now waiting for the Admiral to sign the final results of the board ("bottom line"). The second he signs it - they will post the results.

Nothings changed, just waiting on that, everyone. I know it sucks, but just need to endure.

I think it's really interesting to see how much of a process this stuff really is when it comes to OCS boards. So many different steps and people signing off. I (naively) thought very little of the process (for posting results) initially.

If I was a recruiter for NROTC programs, I'd be making a case with regards to the OCS application process for potential candidates who really want to join but are on the fence about ROTC. "Is this what you really want to deal with?" sort of deal, as opposed to a nice college extracurricular and almost-guaranteed commission.

Even better with regards to the Army. Do you really want to go through BCT and OCS, assuming you even get selected?

And best of all, you're doing all the tough stuff while you're still in your teens and early 20s. Stuff starts to break down in your late 20s, especially if you work in an office sweatshop where you're sitting 12+ hours a day (sitting too much is really bad for your health and bones, no matter how much you're hitting the gym and the track).
