I'm not trying to be a jerk, but 0400 EST is 0100 PST; just clarifying in case that actually makes a difference to ladiesman. I've made the same mistake, between PCSes, contacting family back home (2 different time zone), and now with fullpint deployed. Good luck!

I'm meeting with an investigator on Monday to go over my paperwork. She said after that she will turn in her report and from there it's on the Navy's end. So my speculations on getting my FS letter on the 20th are incorrect. I hope to find out by October. Until then, I'm glad, I get more time to prepare. I just want to get paid though. Haha.. :p

Changes in bold. "Lead Class Officer" and "Course Supervisor" are sometimes referred to as "Assistant Operations Officer" and "Operations Officer," respectively. Depends on the class team's preference.
Get used to saying "United States Navy" at the end of all of them, except for the last four and your DI (God help you if you say your DI is in the Navy during your RLP). As for the Honorable, not sure who told you that it's not part of the POTUS/VPOTUS title, because I'm pretty sure it is. Also, you don't say Mr/Mrs AND The Honorable, since they're technically both titles, and Honorable takes precedence.
Are first names not requied for the military members in the COC? Also, I want to confirm that Honorble is not included with the SECDEF and SECNAV?

First names for the top four only (Ray Maybus, Chuck/Charles Hagel, Joe/Joseph Biden, and Barack Obama). When in doubt, use Charles and Joseph vice Chuck and Joe, unless class team tells you different. And all four are Honorable, including SECDEF and SECNAV (e.g., "Sir/ma'am, the eleventh person in this officer candidate's chain of command is Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Ray Maybus.")

FYI, you can use Barry for POTUS if you want. Prerequisite for that is you must have an affinity for 10 minutes of fun in sand and bird shit.

Some updated chow hall info/advice from someone a week from Candio phase (Feel free to PM me questions but I'm not on here every day):

All chow hall food is now unlocked as soon as you start OCS except soda/dessert/coffee
No more eating by the numbers
You have a spoon and knife and fork to eat with as soon as you start

Yay! Now I can finally be one of the curmudgeons who grumbles about how much tougher OCS was in "the old days!" ........the old days in March 2013
