Yeah I'm 5'7" and had no problems with height requirements. I know more often then not guys who were disqualified for jets because they were too tall (more so in the torso, I believe.) I'd be interested to see where they're getting this, if in fact it has changed.

Yeah, sitting height is what gets some guys for the T-45s.

Seems like the T-45 is designed, if anything, for short people. I'm 5'9" and I have to fly with the rudders all the way out; even then they feel too close.

Every now and again you get in there and some assclown has adjusted the rudders to be full forward... Let's just say that an oompa loompa shouldn't be anthro'd out of the T-45 for being too short.

That is one nice thing about the P-3, room is not an issue at all.

That's the T-45C? I'm still heading to Kingsville (knock on wood) when I'm done here and I'm 6' 225lbs...might be uncomfortable.

Yessir. You'll be allright though... Usually if you're 6' or taller you just have to fly with your head cocked to the side a bit unless you don't mind it resting on the canopy. From what I hear it's not too bad, it just makes figuring out the ILS needles a bit confusing when you're looking at em sideways.

They'll also make you sign an ejection waiver... Basically just stating that if you have to eject, you are ok with the possibility that if the mild detonating cord fails to shatter the canopy (which it frequently does fail), your head will be the canopy shattering device.

No big deal though. :D

I used to fly with the shortest F-14A pilot in the navy. His call sign was "Chilly"...yes like Chilly Willy the cartoon penguin...he was by chance also from Alaska...double whammy. He was about 5' 5" maybe...

Bunk, you'll be fine. Comfortably snug maybe, but I don't think it'll be too bad a squeeze. If we could get MB shoe-horned into her, you're not going to have any trouble.

Redmidgrl is much shorter than I am, and she's in Krock for jets. I'm 5'3" and while I had to sign the ejection seat waiver for weight, I was only anthro'd out of E-2/C-2, Harriers, and one of the SH-60 variants (can't remember which) for pilots. I was good to go as a FO in all platforms/
