I wanted to buy it, and eventually will. When it came down to choosing a military video/documentary, I chose "Ears, Open. Eyeballs, Click". That's a great one too. :D

Yah.. she gets some "commentary" as a buddy's roommate has that on loop and its on in the background are we pregame for the bar every Friday night.

Of course, my commenting is normally brought on by the fact that we get to J's house at 2100, and I started drinking at the O'Club at about 1600, and get picked up from the bar at closing time (1900) to go drink more..

The hard life of a professional flight school student!

The movie does have some really good aerial video though. I just think they made too much of a big deal of her being a chick, and having chicky moments.. (hugging IPs, etc).

I own it. Great flick. My buddy loves when the girl puts on her "O-face" for the first CAT shot! hahah

Sweet movie...everytime I see it I just want to go flying and do a barrel roll, split s's and stuff...but somehow I think the wings might come off my 152.

yeah she does do alot of girly type stuff but she is a girl, kinda entitled i guess to do those things, but she did pull it together, she was under alot of pressure and the guy "head shot" man he seems like he has got what it takes. I really hope to measure up to the task like they both did. Anyways good movie, and once again i am re-enforced and impressed with the ability of the naval fighter pilot... that is why i am going after that dream that all you lucky guys are living. Just hope it is in the cards to get jets, flying fast sure looks fun.

I liked the flick. A few eye-rolling, "You know what sucks about being a Fighter Guy? Nothing!" moments, but I thought it was pretty well done. Especially compared to most of the recruiting-ad, Discovery Channel jams out there.

there was a clip that they had on their website that i guess never made it to the film, but it was essentially her talking about where she is going to keep her vibrator while deployed. They should have kept that in the film.

She lived across the hall from me freshman year (she was a firstie). She was in the other discovery channel documentary on the Academy and thus she was a shoe in for the role here. I remember her giving me a pizza and thats about it. Personally, I liked the flick. I liked the way the guy talked and explained things much more than Lt Varley.

Ha! It was titled "Inside America's Military Academies". I caught it on the military channel a couple months ago and it took me a couple seconds to figure out where I knew her from. An interesting contrast for her from pleb summer to living the dream.

As far as "Speed & Angels" goes: I enjoyed it, great movie.

That being said, I bumped into one of the Saints this summer who was on site for the filming, and he seemed less than impressed with the movie.

They were bummed because it started out being about them and then switched to following the two RAG students. Only "buckethead" ended up getting much "action" as a Saint.

Where is everyone getting this movie? I would really like to see it, but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells it. The website doesn't work when I click the "pre-order now" links, and google doesn't show me anywhere else to buy it. Any tips?
