Please don’t confuse my lack of engagement with ‘saving face’. Think about the idiom/analogy some more.
Yeah I'm thinking about the analogy. Also still waiting for you to tell me what's stopping VCNO from delegating his NJP or CM authority back to COs tomorrow? Right, he can, and you're as wrong and prideful as Brett.

Sure. He could also say “lock up everyone who hasn’t rec’d the vax and throw away the key”. Also, not likely. The navadmin is a pretty good indication of what they, you know, actually intend to do. If you want to continue delve into potential alternate realities, be my guest. I’m just not going to engage on things that aren’t going to happen.

There you go. Finally cornered you enough you've followed your buddy's lead and will try to save face. I'll make you a deal... You don't attack my character for no reason in the future, and I won't embarass you on here.
(sigh) yep, you finally got me. My web of lies is finally revealed. I am utterly defeated. :(

@Mirage

You’re missing the a couple key items in this argument…

1. Brett knows better than anyone else.

2. Brett is infallible.

3. Brett is always right.

4. Anyone who disagrees with Brett is not only wrong but an idiot.

Let’s Go Brandon!
Speaking of Brandon, I would like to thank him for gas prices. It cost me nearly a hundred bucks to put 16 gallons of Avgas in my baby plane ?. I know unrelated.. Don’t care!

Yeah, I also said it was very unlikely. To which you replied that it was not just unlikely, but impossible, and that I didn't understand the legal process. Glad to get that sorted.

As currently signed off on by the CNO, it is impossible. Still a fact.

No, pal, it's not. The VCNO could take everyone who refused to CM tomorrow if he wanted, or delegate punitive authority back down the chain. You said so yourself an hour ago it's possible but unlikely, and now you're saying it's impossible. Make up your mind. I'm done suffering fools here. None of this shit matters. We agree it's unlikely.

You are having a hard time distinguishing what is currently happening and possible or impossible within the constraints of given orders and directives. I’m sorry if you took my response as seriously insinuating it was possible. I meant it only to draw an analogy to how absurd your idea was. If you think you’re the one suffering fools…..

See, Brett? This is how stupid you looked as well. Ulnavy's last post was just a joke.. he didn't really think the message saying VCNO retains punitive authority means VCNO retains the ability to execute or delegate punitive authority. Not sure what's worse... you not realizing that he can, or trying to pretend like you were joking when you first said he could but now you don't think he can again.

Cause inflation and gas prices are his thing! And yes, 100LL is a first world problem but the impact of filling your car or truck not so much.. So yes, I blame Brandon!

FWIW, I was paying $3 bucks a gallon for Avgas when Trump was at the helm! Which would have been $48 bucks for a 16 gallon fill so you do the math…

The attached NAVADMIN 225/21 assigns The Chief of Naval Personnel as the COVID Consolidation Disposition Authority and provides procedural guidance and reporting requirements for administrative disposition of individual Navy service members, active duty and reserve, who are not fully vaccinated per Secretary of Defense Memo, ALNAV 062/21 and NAVADMIN 190/21 mandating COVID-19 vaccination.

The policy goal of the U.S. Navy is to achieve a fully vaccinated force against the persistent and lethal threat of COVID-19. The order to vaccinate constitutes a lawful order.

Navy service members are determined to have refused to obey the lawful order when:
  1. Received a lawful order to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  2. Is not or will not be fully vaccinated on the date required by the order (28 Nov 2021 for AC/FTS and 28 Dec 2021 for drilling reservists)
  3. Does not have a pending or approved exemption request

Administrative action begins as soon as a Navy service member meets the definition of refusing the lawful order to vaccine. Administrative action includes:
  1. Mandatory processing for separation
  2. Ineligible for advancement/promotion/re-enlistment/execute orders
  3. Ineligible for separation pay
  4. Recoupment of any unearned incentive pays
  5. Receive a special FITREP/EVAL documenting failure to comply with medical readiness

Additionally, senior leaders (officers serving as a commander, deputy commander, commanding officer, executive officer, chief of staff, chief staff officer, officer in charge; senior enlisted advisor; or command senior enlisted leader) who refuse to vaccinate will be relieved.

Additional guidance on implementation of administrative actions for Selected Reservists will be forthcoming.

To date 78% of the Navy Reserve have met their responsibility by completing or initiating a COVID-19 vaccination series. We applaud your commitment to ensuring the continued strategic readiness of the Reserve Force. For those that have yet to initiate your vaccination: you have the order and we are counting on you to initiate your vaccination.

Enjoy... ??

Gas has been kept purposefully cheap for untold decades... My in-laws used to own a small c-store / gas station / repair shop. Topic for another thread but I always loathed the people who f*cking yelled ay my MIL when the price of a gallon of regular increased by $0.05 (or about $0.75 increase for a 15 gallon fill-up). These idiots thought my in-laws made (i.e., net profit) $0.25 a gallon when they were, in fact, making between $0.02 and negative pennies per gallon. The droves of people driving luxury vehicles putting in only $5.00 worth of gas or the ones who drove 10 or more miles to save $0.02 per gallon... Pure idiocy, like people putting 93 octane in a car that only requires 89. Love it.
