I went back to past IWC threads to try and find some excel sheets with everyones scores, i was unable to find anything but i did find someone posting this

"Two boards ago IWC Board 2 DEC 2019: 34 out of 191 = 17.8%
One board ago IWC Board 2 March 2020: 22 out of 133 = 16.5%
Current board IWC Board 29 June 2020: 18 out of 127 = 14.1%
I just wanted to put it here for the next IWC Board so when they start looking at the past IWC Board thread they can see this."

Mind you this does not provide the competitive scores needed or the competitive GPA
This is the lastest IWC board but i dont believe anyone has been Prorec Y/N in that board

Me. In a mad dash right now trying to get everything together. Studying for my OAR now, scheduled for Tuesday. Bought a couple of books and digging through Kyle's gouge.

28 Oct of 2019 was 3.34
25 May of 2020 was 3.28
03 Aug 0f 2020 was 3.37
and this last board 02 Nov 2020 was 3.28

Good observation! Thank you and @exNavyOffRec very true, there will be deviations but atleast we can see the similarities from this small sample size!

I didnt think about that. Im going to Assume the provided GPAs fall in the average GPA range (give or take .1) assuming there are no major outliers

Update on my OAR. Started studying full time last Friday, so I was able to spend four days on gouge materials + study guides before I took it Tuesday this week. Scored a 63, so happy enough with the score considering I want to go SWO. I used Patrick and Kyle's gouges, and more or less everything was as expected. The Math section followed the gouges basically exactly. I had logs, factoring, simplification, DRT problems, etc. I was happy that my probablity problems were limited to two very simple ones. My mechanics section was also fairly simple. it's definitely true that you need to know a wide amount of topics. I had general concepts of simple machines, work/force/momentum, pendulum motion, velocity/acceleration, fluid/pressure/buoyancy, electricity, and a random question about the voyager space mission and a flywheel (on the gouges). Still pushing hard to make the 15th deadline, so wish me luck.

Some of the material has some wrong answers, but if you Google it enough and feel confident in the your answer, I'm sure it's likely right. I don't remember what problems were wrong now, but after asking some people for help, I usually got it right (or at least people agreed that it was right, lol)

I got study guides on Amazon, but I only really used two. The Trivium study guide had a good overview of math, and the Test Prep Books study guide had my favorite overview of mechanics. Trivium also makes a practice test book containing two tests, but one of the is included in the study guide.

As far as taking the test, my only advice is just practice, practice, and practice. I did every problem I could get my hands on, and I'm glad I did with such little time before the test. Also, don't cheat yourself out of the basic physics aspects of the test on the mechanics section. While you can do a bunch of problems, it certainly won't help if you don't really understand the concepts behind those problems. I came across a couple questions I had never done before, and if I didn't know the concept, I don't think I would have finished those parts in the 15 min of time given.

Note that I didn't finish the math section in time, so I'm not sure what I missed there. The reading section was just like the practice tests though, so definitely review that at least once.
