i just asked my recruiter what my scores were for the astb (never found out i realized). he said 63-oar and 6 and 7 for pilot. im completely ignorant on what this means and how it's scored,etc. can someone enlighten me?

Yeah, that really sucks. Just kidding man. A 63 OAR is actually quite good. The 6 and 7 are competitive but nothing special. Good job. The OAR is scored using a formula of some of the other stanine scores combined. The others are stanine (standard nine) scores based on a scale of, oddly enough, 9. You should get stanines for AQT, PFAR, and FOFAR.

You did better than I did on the OAR (I had a 57)and I got in. I had a PFAR of 6 and a AQR of 7. I don't think they look at the bio scores anymore. Good luck!
