Will I need to get a hotel room?

Will I need to get a hotel room if I am arriving in newport on a Saturday night? I know the OCS website says I will but i also know some of the stuff is outdated. If any recent attendees has an answer I'd appreciate it.

Yes you will, keep your receipt just like for all of your other travel expenses. The Navy Lodge is on base and probably the most convenient but there are some others very nearby.
