Does anyone know the uniform?

Per the base PAO's email:
"Uniform for military participants will be Service Dress Blues/Service Dress Alphas or equivalent. All others, uniform of the day and civilian business attire."
and the Commodore's Secretary's email:
"Uniform for participants will be Service Dress Blues/Service Dress Alphas or equivalent. All others, uniform of the day, and civilian attire."

In other words, I'd go with khakis/chucks and change back into the bag back at the squadron afterwards. Hope that helps.

Word from our CDO was Service Alphas for Marines which is a bit higher than the official word. Can't think of a more apt occasion for breaking out the coat and tie even if not participating in the memorial.

If it's stupid but works, it isn't stupid.

I've got a flight and probably won't be able to make it, but if I was to sneak in the back (Time permitting) in my flightsuit would I get some dirty looks?

if it says SDBs, I'd assume the safest bet would be SDBs... that's what I went in for the other IP lost in the last T-34 at his memorial at NASNI.
