you get your bars when you do you commissioning ceremony, and you have your commissioning docs. i did the PLC combined and then i had to finish college, get official transcripts of my bachelor's degree and then make sure that my commissioning docs were in. then my OSO did the ceremony for me. if you go through OCC or PLC Sr's you get your bars after graduation you go to little theater i believe and have a ceremony where you get you bars.

If you are a PLC candidate, you will complete PLC, go back to college, graduate college, then be commissioned.

When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow.
