What happened to AFP???

I know that I am going to be a Navy guy, but I wanted to see a close-up on what actual flight training is like.

I have read many journals (including the ones on this webpage) as well as Bogueys and Bandits (good book). All of these books gave me a taste of what it will be like once I get to flight school. But, I thought it was cool that they were starting a series on following student pilots in the Air Force pipeline.

I have emailed the producers of the show to try and get a copy of the remaining tapes that were "cancelled", but they don't respond.

What is everyone's opinion on AFP? Should they air it? Anyone know of a place where I might be able to find the AFP tapes???

I got some time in the F-15 SIM down at Tyndal AFB this past summer, a friend of the family's designs their training program, but they told me down there that they thought the show would re-air at the end of the summer and if it didnt then it probably wouldnt come back. I think it had origionally been bumped to ABC Family or something and then they just passed on the whole thing. But that SIM, not that was some cool $h*t!!!

I bet that sim was... Not everyone is as lucky as you are, or others that know CO's or Admirals personally. Once you know someone high up, you get a lot of favors passed down to you. Again, I wish I was that lucky.
