What are the typical qualifications for getting into Navy OCS? Specifically for getting a pilot slot? Thanks for the help!

jnt,

Go to www.nomi.navy.mil and look for the aeromedical guide/waivers - this lists the physical requirements.

Here is a good idea, call an Officer Programs recruiter! Talk to a live person with the very latest info on class dates and programs. The NOMI web site is great, but when was it last updated? If there is bad info on a web site who is held accountable? Does it tell you what the "competetive profile" is? Does it note that in the week before this post CNRC (Recruiting Comand)very unexpectedly tasked every Recruiting District with three more NFOs. The program was virtually closed. Now they need people. Things change. A recruiter is trained and current on everything you need to know. A recruiter is evaluated on the number of people he puts in the navy and the quality of his service to the community. He is help accountable for what his says to the public. Pick up the phone! Go down to an Officer Recruiter and sit down face to face.
