Thris thread is a torrent of emotions.
On the one hand, I feel bad for the dude because he is trying to right himself after some poor decisions.
On the other, he thinks that the military will take fuckups and that lying about it is cool.
My landlord made a side comment that she wished a boy she knew went into the service after being in and out of jail to "straighten him out." She was surprised when I explained that the military generally doesn't accept criminals.

^ Lying your ass off to cover your fuck ups is not trying to "right" yourself and shows the OP has absolutely no character or honor. He is just trading vices and has no place in the military as either officer or enlisted. He would be a disgrace to both.
