Waiver for Adderoll prescription

I was offered a NROTC scholarship to purdue last spring. I accepted the scholarship, but about 2 weeks before school I learned that I was rejected because I was taking adderoll. I stopped taking the adderoll in May of last year, so I was told I would be automaticly medicly qualified after 12 months. After calling around I learned that there was a waiver which would make me qualified within 6 months. How do I go about getting this waiver/what can I do so speed along this process to get the scholarship to begin for this semester?

Go Boilers! good luck. I know the military treats ADD/ADHD like it's the equivalent of being insane or something.
