Does anybody know where they put up student aviators to live at Vance? Somebody told me if you weren't married, you had to live in the BOQ. Can anybody validate that for me? And if so, what the *&^% am I supose to do with my dog?

When I went there, single studs had to live in the BOQ. BUT if you got there and it was full, you could either go on the waiting list (which I did, and got a room in a couple days) or you could go out in town and get a place.

I've only heard bad things about Vance. I'd like to hear some positive things about the base and some good reasons to go there. My buddy is at Moody and hating life, but I wanted another perspective.

The Q will be full, I wouldnt worry about it. As for having a dog... Its gonna spend alot of time alone the next few months.
