Vacation recommendation

My wife and I want to go on vacation around mid April. We live in Southern California and are willing to depart anywhere in California for a cruise. Can anyone recommend either a cruise line (ship? Or maybe you have a recommendation for a vacation some place else like Hawaii?

Have you guys thought about Cancun or somewhere down in Mexico. I have an aunt & cousin who went out of Long Beach or San Diego down there on a cruise and loved it. As for Hawaii, it's never a bad choice!!! There's also Alaska cruises which are supposed to be fabulous!!

i went on the mexico one, i would think that the carribean one would be a lot better and more scenic.

My parents recently took a cruise out of Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro) to Ensenada, Mexico. I think it was 4-days and they made stops at Catalina Island and San Diego I think. You might want to check the cruises out of San Pedro of nothing is reasonable from San Diego.

P.S. Check deals going to New Zealand. Warm and great surfing this time of year. Direct flights from LAX to Christ Church. You won't regret it.
