Drill baby drill!
Today my congressman's academy liason called me to notify me that i have been given a full appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy and that i will be getting a letter either this week or next.

Its been a long hard road and now im pretty dang excited about going.

Mr. Gray and others here, thank you for your information and encouragement over the past few months.

My other account was MURdragon, but it got lost in the forum transfer.

Cant wait till July 9th.

Congrats, I will be one of your classmates. I would have been in 07 but blew out my knee before reporting last year, so I was rolled back. I would also tell you to NOT DO ANYTHING STUPID like I did. It is easy to get excited and go hog wild after you get accepted, but the road is not over yet. Have fun but be CAREFUL, and remember where you have worked so hard to get into to. Enough Preaching, Happy to see you made it and will see you at indoc.
