In all fairness, he chose to become a billionaire instead. I know plenty of Wharton (and Harvard) Biz school graduates who haven't accumulated that much success despite their "better" education.
For the herd...Wharton undergrad is actually the highest rated undergrad biz school and has been for years. The grad school is always in a dogfight for one of the top 3 spots. So, Wharton is a pretty big deal, the undergrad arguably more so than the MBA, at least in competitiveness.
That said, it wasn’t as prestigious in the 1970s, when Trump was attending it and avoiding STDs in lieu of military service. Also, he was a transfer student with a donor as a father. Take that for what you will.
He “became” a billionaire the same way I became 6’2”...he inherited most of it. Much of the rest he scammed. His business ethics are nothing to be admired. More than one analysis shows that he would have been richer if he’d just put his inheritance in an index fund.
