Is this the same at OCS?

Service ribbons? If by service ribbons you mean cammies with huge white name tapes on the front and back that have been stenciled daily for weeks... then yes, you will be able to wear them in OCS.

No tax,
I actually mean real service ribbons that are awarded and earned during service in the US Armed Forces.

I think what tax was getting at is that it is a moot point at Marine OCS. All you will ever wear is Cammies. Naavy OCs will wear khakis and thus maybe need to wear ribbons

You won't wear service or dress uniforms at OCS, unless you commission there. In which case you would wear your ribbons. Otherwise all the "uniform inspections" are in cammies.

TBS is a different story.
