TIS (Time in Service)

Could someone clarify the TIS definition?

Does this ONLY apply to Active or Reserve in drill applicants?

If someone has ended their service honorably and then they return with a AD package for IWC does the TIS apply?

TIS is often times combined active duty and reserve. However, some programs may clearly delineate AD TIS only.

Kingly suggest you talk to your reserve recruiter for details / discussion.

That was my interpretation as well while reviewing the PA-108C, Section h subsection (5). Thank you.

Basically if it can be used toward retirement from AD they will count it, but reserve time is generally a minimal add on the way they do it.
