Is there any downtime b/w API and Primary for SNFOs right now? Someone wants me to come home the weekend after I get out of API and I'm wondering if I'll be classed up or waiting around to class up again. Any ideas?

my SNFO buddies that have finished up API the past few weeks have gone straight to their primary squadrons and started up class that monday. those of us down in corpus have a 2 month wait. I checked in 3 weeks ago, suppose to start up 4 FEB, 2 buddies checked in today and are suppose to start up 11 MAR.
You might be able to take off that weekend, best bet is to go straight to the primary wing and ask them.

Whether or not you have a week in between depends on your class number. They start ground school over at Trawing 6 every other week. Check what happens to the classes ahead of you and do the math. During that week you can take leave but you will be mustering and standing watch if you don't.
