Here it is:
I did 3 years patrol duty while as ASF platoon leader at Moffet when I was a First Class P.O.
There are 2 types of tickets a Base Security type can give you. (It is totally under the individual officers discretion for the most part, which type to issue you, so don't piss them off!)
1.) A citation from the base that is what you might call a "fixit ticket". These normally involve "points" and add up the entire time you are stationed at a base. They are for minor infractions from parking to speeding and the amount of points vary. (ie 2 points for a parking ticket like parking in the CO wifes spot or Master Chiefs spot at the NEX). Once you get 12 points you get to see the base traffic judge.
2.) A federal magistrate ticket, or, "maggie". These go on your real driving record and are reported to the state. Speeding and reckless driving are the major tickets that the base cops hit you for. You just pay it like normal, or go see the base traffic judge.
You have to find out which type ticket you got! A base ticket or a "maggie". (Most likely a "maggie" for an expired license, especially if you pissed off the cop.)
