Thanks for letting us know what's going on with NOMI. I was an SNA and was to start OCS 5 August but when I did the ACES program three weeks prior to that they found a pterygium in my left eye...it's just a stupid little thing that doesn't effect my visual acuity. At any rate, I just wen tthrough a HUGE waiver request process with BUMED and the flat out turned me down. I had several supporting letters from eye surgeons talkign about my eye. At any rate, I'm not going to be a Navy pilot this time around...my Air Force package is just about in and I'm sitting for the October pilot board. Go Air Force now!
