Having grown up in New England and some bitter disapointments I'm so glad they lost and am cautiously optomistic about the world series
 
I never expected this to happen. I was sure we were going to lose the ALCS.

I can't sleep!!! I'm so fired up still! No matter what happens in the WS the year will be looked on as a success (And now I can justify to my wife for spending $100 on the MLB package this past season).

Now just gotta find the money for plane tickets home!

I can't say that I'm happy, as I am a huge Yankees fan. But I have to admit the Bosox played good ball. Now let's see how they do in the big game....can they reverse the curse?
 
I figure that everyone likes seeing the under-dog win; it makes us feel good. But, everyone also has some twisted little part of them that likes seeing the under-dog get crushed and all their hopes destroyed.

Personally, I despise both teams. The Yankees for just buying whomever they want, essentially buying their titles. And I hate the Sox for constant complaining and whining about a curse... A CURSE?!?!?!?!

This season could be optimal for me; now I have the possibility of seeing both teams lose.
 
I am so excited the Red Sox won! I HATE the Yankees. What an amazing series!!!

I wish the Giants had stepped up this season, but no such luck!

It wasn't the Giants' fault. They played their hearts out, won 10-15 games more than they had any business winning. It's the management's fault for not getting anything done at the trade deadline. They need to bust ass and get Barry his ring he deserves before he retires.

Back on the subject, that game last night was one of the greatest sports moments, and I'm not even a Sox fan....just seeing the Yanks, especially A-Fraud and Jeter lose after being up 3-0...oh how sweet!! GO SOX!!!
 
Damn it! Houston my team! Why? Why? I was hoping to go to the world series not knowing who to root for now its the Red Sox all the way. Screw the Cards.
