Tanfoglio Witness P 9mm

A friend of mine needed to sell a few of his guns, and more out of trying to help him out than anything else, I purchased a never fired Witness P S chambered for 9mm.

I've never owned or fired a Tanfoglio before, and am wondering if anyone here may have had an experience with one. I paid him $ 250.00 for it, and took the gun as he wouldn't take the money outright. I need another handgun like I need another hole in my head, but I guess I'll have another gun play around with that isn't so expensive to feed.

It does appear to be very similar, from looking about on the web it looks closest to a CZ 75. The frame is polymer.

You could try asking about it on a forum like Glocktalk. They have a lot of insight on everything!

That sounds like a great deal. I don't have any personal experience with that weapon either but a buddy of mine used to have a CZ-75 that he really liked.

Lately one of the first things I think about with anything magazine fed, especially something that may not be real common, is how hard is it to find an extra mag if you need one. That, and what the mags might cost in the future.

I've found a few places on line that carry the magazines, they are in the $20.00 range. I usually try to keep 4 or 5 magazines for each of my handguns, I guess that might come close to the price of the weapon itself.

I like 'em. Good guns, accurate and not too bad on the wallet.
