The USAF T-38 fleet is getting long in the tooth. The oldest A-models we have at Beale are 59 years old, and have 20,000+ hours. That's a lot of 1.1 sorties.

This is the third time the T-45 engine has randomly started shitting blades. CNATRA had previously gone on record to say they are one black swan event away from stopping all T-45 training.

I'm going to go with "big deal".
