Sorry to butt in on your post, but since I have the attention of another female applicant:

what kind of times/reps did you get for your PFT? ( if you don't mind my asking?)

I ask because I am inbetween recruiters right now,and since you got accepted and all...

okay, i'll stop rambling now. Thanks!

It depends on your Gunny. In my class, only the aviators went to the pool (the SEALs did not) on Tuesday and Thursday. The others worked on RLP (which was a nice advantage for them). We swam for 4 or 5 weeks I think. It certainly wasn't much. The game of water polo at the end was pretty fun though.

Hey spiderwmn,

Long time no hear. How have you been? You are between recruiters? Strange did another decide to leave or get transfered? I know that in API you have to swim a mile and if you can do it then any swimming in OCS is going to be a piece of cake. Hows your shoulder by the way.

Hi Brian!

I am between recruiters because I still haven't gotten around to taking my retest (everytime I set up a date, I ended up having an exam or project due then). So I am going to retest in a few weeks ( end up x-mas break maybe?)now that the semester is finally over.

I went to the Dr. about my shoulder ( collar bone really), but after x-rays he said it looked normal. I cut WAY back on my excercise for a few weeks, so I am going start doing push ups again and hopefully it will be okay.

Sounds like you are all set for OCS. Are you getting nervous yet?

Hey spidrwmn,

I am very eager to start actually. I am tired of waiting but then I am not totally prepared yet. I have been getting into shape and boy it has been hard! The memorization is easy though . Good to hear that your shoulder is good to go though. Try out the flying lessons if you get a chance as it is a lot of fun. I also hop eyour retest goes well although I totally understand those exams and projects always popping up..hehe
