What happened here? STA-21 completely dropped the ball when it came to what was the "Marine Option" under BOOST.
This is all uber-hypothetical, but I was wondering, what's to stop a STA-21 candidate from completing NSI, getting their degree, but turning down the commission into the NR? At that point, would it be possible (and if so, would it necessarily be discouraged?) to seek a commission in the Marine Corps? Or any other branch for that matter...
(Also, who are all the STA-21 folks in Texas? Anyone attending UT-Austin? I'd like to establish a correspondance with someone down there. Hell, I'll even talk to an Aggie. I'll just have to type slower
