SPECTRE trailer is out

Just got back from SPECTRE. Good movie, although it felt like a rehash of all the Sean Connery movies combined and then updated. Not as good as SkyFall or Casino Royale but better than Quantum of Solace. Horrible opening theme by Sam Smith (they should have paid Adele whatever she wanted to do another one) but a fantastic helicopter scene to begin with in a BO 105. Hulking Dave Bautista channels the indestructible tough guy Oddjob. Beautiful Aston Martin DB-10 but old school even better, Aston DB-5. Movie well worth seeing, especially Lea Seydoux and her walk.....
The movie could have been pretty short if James Bond had gone to Home Depot, they have all he needs to defeat Spectre, because they carry spectrecide :D

I agree with Randy Daytona's assessment. The opening was pretty badass but the song was awful. There were some great action scenes and Dave Bautista was a combination of Jaws and Oddjob. However, there were some pretty stupid scenes like the plane scene in the Alps. Really? Sorry but that was a major eye-rolling moment. I did like the "reveal" moment (trying not to spoil it) and the injuries said character received. I'd really like to see where they go from there though. Overall, worth seeing if you're a Bond fan but don't expect to be blown away.

I suppose my "Bond Philosophy" is such that I expect eye-rolling moments... It's a James Bond movie - not a documentary :)

I'm a huge fan of the Bond movies, but I went to see this one almost entirely for Christoph Waltz. That actor blows me away.

His talents were so incredibly underutilized in this film.

Are you implying I didn't intend to insinuate that my initial inclination toward this evening of entertainment involved intercourse with the incredible Christoph Waltz?
Or at least with his mouth. :) I heard a long-form interview with him on Adam Carolla's show a few years back. He is pretty amazing.

Looks like some good news from the movies - The UK Mirror is reporting that Daniel Craig will return to play James Bond for a 5th time - and Adele will be back for the theme song. Filming to start next year for a release in 2019 - the only location released so far is Croatia.

Trailer from Spectre.

Great Blu-Ray set if you do not have it.

nice for the movie, meh on Adele as I am not a big fan, I would have preferred Chris Cornell but obviously that isn't going to happen.

Chris Cornell did a fantastic job with Casino Royale - someone (2nd video below) even made a better music video than his own official video - thought some might want to see.

I like Craig, but I was sorta hopeful that the rumors of Idris Elba taking over would come true.

He comes across as a bit big and imposing to be a Bond, even though he is the same height as Connery and only an inch taller than Moore, but onscreen he seems more villain-sized.
