So, who wants to date my daughter?

Didn't think so.

I went to the range today, partly as a tuneup for elk season and partly to blow off some steam. It was a good day; got to meet Fly Navy and do some shooting. I should add....that Sig is nice and fits very well. Just putting it in your hand is, well, natural.

100yards with some hunting ammo. Good enough to keep potential suitors at bay. :)

The part he neglected to mention was that he had Fly walk out to 100 yds and hold the target.

I'm undaunted by your marksmanship, Doc. Where's she at? ;)

That's a nice rack! Wait...I mean group...on the target.

Seriously, that's some good shooting. Factory loads? What kind of rifle, were you on a bench rest, prone, etc? Looks like elk don't stand much chance.

Yep, was a good day at the range indeed. Got to shoot his .500 S&W revolver. SICK! Highly recommend trying one if you have the chance.

And I personally saw that target... raptor10 is in trouble...

Took my daughter to the range this weekend.

Although she shoots on a NRA Jr Rifle team with 22LRs, this was her first time with a pistol.

She hit everything she aimed at. I was impressed. And at just age 10.

Wow, sounds like it has been an excellent gun day for all around!

Went to the range today to blast off a bunch of the ammo and TANNERITE I gave out at my hail & farewell.

The most liberal m******* from my squadron now owns a Sig P226! We brought him a little back from the dark side.

I roll my own; some RL-22 powder pushing a 180 grain Barnes Triple XBT. Remington action, Shilen barrel from a bench.

Brett, she is safely at home.....I don't let her attend beer bashes in Lemoore anymore.

Raptor 10; you only wish I was as nice as Sean Connery. :(

MB, I love that tannerite. I mixed three jugs together and placed in under a fridge which had a tire an rim on top. Nothing left of the fridge you could recognize, the tire went a good 40' in the air.

Bought it and a Marlin Model 60 rifle used for $40.

Marlin Model 60 - what a great little rifle. Grandad gave me one when I was 11 and I've still got it today. Talk about a fun afternoon of shooting. Tight groups, cheap to shoot...doubt I'll ever part w/ it. :)
