Ok, I know pilots fly around 20 hours a month minumim. What are the different things they do in the squadron when not flying?

Hmm. Well I looked back and found some stuff in one thread. Looked like a lot of little jobs like making coffee. I did read something about a guy being a lawyer for the squadron and commanding enlisted personel.
 
That sounds cool, having other positions around the squadron other than flying. However, can you choose this position, or is it assigned to you.
