Shore Tour Options?

Does anyone know anything about the possibility of flying C-12's during your first shore tour? When I was in Primary, I vaguely remember hearing something about Helo pilots having the opportunity to fly C-12's out of Japan to build up fixed wing time. Anyone have more info? Locations maybe, or the competitiveness of these billets? Thanks...

On the green side there are C-12 opportunities in Japan, SoCal Yuma and a couple places East. Soon to be Cessna Citations. not a bad deal but not the track if you want a squadron. Also these are fairly competitive i.e. go be the airfield opsos in 29 plams and get C-12s on the back side.

Jesus Christ, will this die already???

STATESIDE C-12s are going to the Reserves.

OVERSEAS there will still be a need for station aircraft and experienced guys to haul them around.
